What to Expect

We’re excited to have you as our guest on Sunday! To help you find your way, we’ve given you a quick overview of what to expect below. If you’d like to see what our services are like beforehand, feel free to watch online or contact us .

We’ve answered some FAQs here but if you’d like to know more please stop by our Connection Point outside when you arrive and a friendly face will assist you! We can’t wait to meet you!

FAQs

1. Where are you?
You’ll find us on the corner of El Camino Real and Douglas at 420 N. El Camino Real, Oceanside, CA 92058

2. Who are you?
Coast City Church is a fun group of people representing the diversity of Oceanside. You’re likely to bump into a school teacher, student, military member, business owner, parent, a grandpa – you name it.

3. Is there a dress code?
Tuxes or tanks, it’s all good here. We’re not focused on appearance. Just be you!

4. What happens when I get there?
Join us for one of English services at 9:00AM, 10:30AM & 12pm. Parking assistants will greet you as you enter our campus and direct you to the appropriate parking area. Head towards the shade sails for our main service or bring your kids to our children’s center to the left side of the building. On your way in, you can grab a coffee at the coffee truck or stop by the Connection Point outside with any questions. Our hosts can help you find a seat inside as the service begins.

5. What’s it like?
Service kicks off with meaningful, contemporary worship music followed by prayer time. Then you’ll hear a message from scripture from one of our teaching pastors. After service, there will be an opportunity to respond in prayer, giving, or getting connected. We would love to meet and get to know you when you come. Make sure to stop by the Connection Point on your way out.

6. What About Children?
We believe children are more than the future, they are the now! A trained and friendly staff is ready to care for infants, toddlers, and elementary aged children. Our curriculum is catered to each age group for children to learn about Jesus through music, crafts, and the Bible. It is fun and relatable for everyone!

In addition to fun, your child’s safety is a priority to us at Coast City. For this reason all volunteers have completed a thorough background check and a secure system is used for checking in your child.

•    Guardians will check in their child using a secure check in system and receive a security number to remain with you during service.

•    If an issue arises during service requiring your presence we will contact you by text message.

•    At the close of service guardians must present their security number for children to be released to their appropriate parent/guardian.
